They live in Munich (and jet setting all over the world for work ) but Provence has always held a special place in her heart. So when it came to choosing a location, the decision was a no brainer.
They invited 27 of their closest people to a small venue tucked into the hills where Jelena spent her childhood summers and chose to celebrate on the longest day of the year, the 21st of June. There was no big production. Just connection, and little details infused into every key moment to make it theirs. A close family friend as their celebrant, a German tradition with the bride’s cup, a long dinner table overlooking the breathtaking Haut Var hills,and cocktail hour spent dancing and chatting to live music around the pool.
Golden hour didn’t even start until 9pm. We had time to breathe. To let the light shift slowly as we drove up to the village for couple portraits. It wasn’t about trends or perfection. It was about presence. About family. And making space for what matters
